The phones before the final match is a tough one indeed. A lot of phones are already flagship killers targetting the Samsung S line and the iPhone too, but for me it all comes to performance and features.
To be honest, I could consider my Galaxy Note 4 as the best smartphone. But looking at what the Samsung S9+ is trying to create - tons of features coming from its reach history, groundbreaking features and performance, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people are still voting for Samsung. It's not the perfect smartphone, but matching its features against what OnePlus does, it's going to be a tough fight.
I had a OnePlus 2 but I switched back to Samsung, so it's the Korean giant for me.

Samsung s9+ is jst an ok phone. Nothing extraordinary about it. I think its little over priced. Bixby could have been better. Don't understand what is in this ph which makes it so expensive.... may be it is to maintain that class. Hopefully future phones will be truely awesome which we wil b able to love it. I fail to understand iphone having lower gorilla glass don't get scratches whereas these samsung having higher grade gorilla glasses tend to get fine scratches. Same happened with my s7 edge and same happening to my s9+. Plus samsung phone is too glossy n delicate. Have to be so extra careful not to drop it. I broke my s7 plus just by a trival fall. So we have to keep the phone well protected in this case and also have to use screen guards which is really irritating. It makes me wonder the product quality though they claim to be of higher grades. Sorry for the negative comment. You must be wondering then why am i buying samsung phone repeatedly... its because i do not see other better alternative and per force i happen to buy samsung. I jst wish someone better n sincere than samsung comes up.

The people who are saying that it is the worst phone i want to tell them that SAMSUNG is my favourite brand and this one is the best brand.. i don't like apple i phones apple is just a logo which people are using for showing that they are rich. But samsung is best bcoz it's features are awesome. If we'll talk about look then no ome can say anything about samsung.. i just love samsung. I'm using s8 but I've seen s9+ it's features Nd look it's just awesome..

Galaxy s9 is one of the worst phones I ever used. Features r useless, bixby is hopeless, Batterylife is pathetic, duplicate apps are a headache, charging speed is a slow. Camera produces unnatural, fake colours and every picture is over-sharpened . Overall it's a highly overpriced, master-at-none-phone. Not worth the money. As a result Samsung made record breaking POOR sales out of S9 in the history of Galaxy S series.
