Oh my, why people here are soo lazy that they don't want to plug the USB cable, and ask for a "wireless" instead?
They called it wireless but you need to lay the phone when you could freely use it with the wired one.

More battery degradation and possible exploding batteries? No thanks.
I'm sticking with slower charging (5V at 1A) even if my phone can handle 4.5A unless I absolutely need to charge ny phone quickly.

After the "fastest" charger in the world serves everyone for so long, they will be bored and consider it "quite slow," enough to force manufacturers to make that "fastest" to be even faster. So people would still complain even if your idea happens.
