Korean perception of chinese phone is that its very low quality. They rather spend on Apple devices.

And historically South Korea has been a graveyard for foreign technological brands. Google doesn't dominate web searches there, it's naver.

HTC came and went briefly for 2 years, 2010-2012. Nokia entered and reentered at least 3 times, despite having manufacturing bases there (until Microsoft Mobile shut it down).

But if xiaomi can go for a marketing campaign that boasts about their greater value for money ratio-and a way to rebel against the dominance of lg and samsung... They stand a chance of succeeding.

Good luck finding a good S7 at a good price since the S6 is already defeated by the RMN5...

While in Korea, you can easily find secondhand S7 or S6 in good condition, with much lower price than that. I doubt it will have good sales
