[deleted post]this is a matter of taste. some ppl find that xperia arc is the most beautiful phone on the market, others (like me) find that n9 is the one, an so on ...
the thing with dual core (in my opinion) is pure marketing ("let's show our device's muscle") and don't bring too much differences in performance.
the only good thing in iphone is the os which is one of the best, but the bad thing with it is that you're not allowed to access it directly (e.g. via a terminal), so if you want to make a tiny app for yourself you have to go through appstore and all the crap implied by this (or to crack your phone which will void your warranty, which is crap because you should have warranty on hardware and assistance on software).

still boring with same looks and no memory card slot and also no home screens like android or symbain. And useless front cam with only wifi video call..

[deleted post]Yeah, you're right. Media makes everyone to expect so much. But, there's BUT, Android manufacturers 'luckily' meet the context of the rumors people are expecting - so maybe that's the reason why people used to expect and conclude eventually from just plain rumors.

well a bit dissapointed no iphone 5. but hey this is awesome. well everyone slagging apple of again on here.
shame. the thing is everyone is jealous. the old addage. everyone slags this company off and its products, but if i said do u want my iphone 4 the queues would miles long.
looks good cant wait to get one.

if u remove flash , remove sd-slot and also limit the android phones to play only itunes purchased music , android phones easily run everything twice as fast and also perform well.
Only thing iPhone 4s can do well is in graphics.I agree that graphic performance is the best and also wonderful comparing any other phone in the current market.
Android also runs widgets , flash very smoothly.
Have u seen galaxy s2 performance ? WOW simply , but last year galaxy s1 really bad. but galaxy s2 very nice phone interms of everything.
4S is big disappointment for sure.
i think samsung is the best without locking down their device and also bada OS also very nice one.
BTW i dont blame 4s because for people who own a phone back from 2009 like 3GS or any other , 4S will be big update both in RAM and graphics , camera and also battery.
4S is solid update just like iPad 2.
many said same with iPad 2 announcement as well.
People who have Galaxy s2 or iPhone 4 will not regret buying those devices. And iPhone 4s doesnt really give "big upgrade".
but i definitely recommend people to buy galaxy s3 if they can wait little bit or even nokia's windows phones.

iPhone 6 will be released on Q3 2012 with 1.2Ghz dual core processor, 1Gb ram, HD 3.5inch screen with 1500mah battery and with same dimension and form as its predecessors iphone4 and 4S.
meanwhile...
Samsung Galaxy S 4 with intel 2.0Ghz quad core processor, adjustable FHD to HD 4.65" Super Amoled Plus and 12 hour video plaback battery power.

I love it how everyone is so "shocked" about the iphone 4s.. Who's to blame for it? THE MEDIA! We've been brainwashed about iphone 5 that we all expected the new phone to be who knows what. In the end, apple never announced iphone 5 ever. Iphone 4s is a great product, dual core functionality for when the iphone 4 single core was enough. The 3g and 3gs had the same concept of the 4's. So what android fans are bashing this wall, every 3 days android comes out with a new device, obviously because there is like 6 mobile companies rushing for the next best android platform. You can all buy your android tommorow, and in 1 month the guy next to you will have a higher model than yours, for iphone users that's not the case. So as much as I was dissapointed that the model was the same, I think to myself, the iphone 4 body is the sexiest mobile body ever created, so I remain happy.

Even after two years, phones released still looks like garbage. iPhone 4 still looks better than other phones in terms of design. GALAXY S2 looks ugly. Only the AT&T version of it looks better but still ugly. Others think that specs are EVERYTHING. Even if phones are released with quad core, it would still be irrelevant if it looks like a garbage. It is only future proof. iPhone already runs smoothly on single core. Dual core is already too much to ask for. Phones are not designed well this day. Unlike the Xperia Arc, even though it is running on single core, does the job and it is the best looking phone in the market.

I'll wait for the iPhone 5 and give Windows Phone a try since I sold my iPhone 4 and don't want to buy the 4S.

disappointing... as usual. With 15 months between these two devices, you would have thought that apple would of produced something better. I look forward to the iPhone 4gs in 15 months time.

wow! apple is bringing some fireworks here. Well iphone 4s might be the one we are looking for looks more convenient and easy to use. You do not need android anymore if you have a A5 chipset and dual-core!? that's just. Amazing. Pricing is a little bit problem with the 64GB storage.
