As the report suggest, most of them comes from games, most of them IAP.. and paid subscription.
Now users have switch between Android and iOS many many times. So you can't blame Apple user's behaviours, because they might have came from Android, and Apple users have migrated to android also!
So if a game exist on BOTH platforms, WHY only customer pay on iOS? BECAUSE its more enjoyable!! and more value for money!
In other words.. Most Apps on Android is rubbish!

There's just too many alternative in play store, and if you don't mind the ads that come with it. Some of those alternative are pretty good app as well when comparing to the pay one. And some are even completely free (without ads).
iOS in other hand doesn't have as much alternative as in play store. So, in a way that app in iOS feel pretty forceful and you just end up buying it when you want/need to use something like that.
Let's be honest, how many app out there that the majority of regular smartphone user need it to use that is a pay-app? Like how many pay-app would a regular smartphone user need in their daily driver? Most people are just using Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, WeChat, Link, etc. For office, almost everyone got a alternative for you. Photo editing/or just add different filters there's also tons of free one. ( And the pay one also need to be compatible in order for he user to actually keep it).

So apple makes 7.2billion from China app store? Almost one third. 🤔 I wouldn't be surprised if China is also the largest android app market.

Google play demonstrates why an open OS can be bad. It’s funny to see that there are still people who use the old argument that you have to pay for every app on iOS. There are tons of free apps and that was the case back in 2010 when I got my very first iPhone. I remember at the official Samsung phone they were trying to convince me that IPhone is not good because I need to pay for every app. Lies then, lies now.

Before anyone complaining about android apps sucks, Play Store does have a lot of high quality non-pirated free apps. Check Editor's Choice apps. Dont go for stupid apps if you know what i mean. Google need to filter and remove all those useless apps the app developer make for fun in Play Store. Dont download even if its free; wasting your time and data. Meanwhile, App Store just put price tag on everything even on a useless app that should be free.
