Personally I think not changing the design is a good thing!
It makes peripherals and accessories a lot cheaper.
One of the downsides about Android is the constant changeover. For example, it's much harder to find accessories for my Nexus One than it is for the iPhone 4 and my phone has been in the market longer.
I can see Apple using this body next year as well: iPhone 4GS with LTE and NFC chip.

I have never know so many haters of apple on so many websites. ok the latest upgrade brings it into line with the SG2. Apple products work and do what they say. the android app store is not as good and the personalisation is over complicated. I want email, music, text, phone calls and internet facility with some games and iphone does all that. had it for over two years with no freezing or issues what so ever.
have just returned sg2 with a view to getting the iphone 4s.
it's each to their own and what works for one may not work for another.
Actually the voice assistant will be great when i am in the car.
end of the day. all the latest phones are great so don't just dismiss them for some hatred campaign. everyone is copying each other as they always have and always will. technology moves on so there will always be better to come.

Watch how Siri is different from just a normal voice control program.
The video shows how Siri is deeply integrated into the iPhone system, and coordinates separate apps, and understands context, to achieve a single task.

That is telli... moreActually you are wrong, did you watch keynote? it worked very well and like others speech apps you dont need to talk that robotic talk with your phone, you can say things differently and siri understand what you mean. Most common speech will not be understood. You have to talk to it in a certain way.
I can see the complaints flooding in. I told my phone to do this but it doesn't understand a word...

What is the use of glass back, while you usually have to cover your iphone with PLASTIC cases, in order not to break it.

iPhone has always been doing things this way... if you have bought one you would have to wait for the second generation of iPhone to come, for it to be an acceptable upgrade.. so from 3gs to 4gs sure, why not, but nothing less..
sgs II has been available for 6 months now... and i'd choose it over iPhone or even iPhone 4S.. but now nexus prime is coming with HD resolution 4.66" display and it's not much bigger than sgs II... it's probably gonna be the best phone out there for some time to come...

Apple has shown today how it is pursuing the 'user experience' approach. The tech specs are great for sure, but Siri has placed the 'user experience' paradigm into the spotlight, and will be felt stronger than before.
Siri will not be able to be brushed aside by tech specs alone, and the rivals will now rush to emulate a similar experience, which will prove difficult.

iPhone has nothing advanced than the other phone, bigger display? powerfully CPU,innovative design? No. not at all. So I do not understand why the people so excited about the phone with anything new compete with the current model in the market. before the release, the survey show 89% of the iphone users consider to buy iPhone 5, Now, I think that the iphone fans will think twice before buy after the release!!!!

If you buy a mac, you know it will be one of the most powerful machines available but it seems there strategy with the iphone 4S is the complete opposite. Going backwards almost.

The 4S's GPU is the same one that's used on the pad 2, which absolutely trumps the Tegra 2.
