What a waste.
Scamsung curved paper like thin screens have zero duraility even with gorrila glass 5 and failing on concrete even from height of 0,5 destroy the whole screen when phone drops on edge.
Customers have to opay 300-500 for repairs so foldable screen will be even less durable and much more pricey.
Just tfor information guys. S9+ curved screen just the screen cost 14 euros to make.
But when you need to fix it you have to pay for a wohle new glass plus touch panel.

I can imagine 2019 no drop test due to smartphone/tab become fragile in reality.

Anonymous, 19 Jul 2018Envy? Sadly sony never innovate. I am very envy Samsung can keep reminding people flexible things, no wonder their fans can keep support them without waiting year by year.

Bend the flexible screen must be made of plastic and it must scratch damage more than Gorilla Glass 6

This fairy tale has been in press for years, and it's always coming next year. When I touch a unicorn, I will believe they exist. Till then it's just a story for kids.

Yes! 7.0 inch with 18:9 foldable! Possibly better than mi max 3, which mi max 3 has only 636 chipsets, not even have dust/water resistant and 6.9 inch.
