Huawei formally announces the Kirin 710 12nm SoC

The Kirin 710 offers 68% better multi-core and 75% better single-core performance than its Kirin 659 predecessor.

      Grats it will cost 400+ i mean any upcomming phone with this and from previous model it will run same game for example clash of lords by 0,5 seconds faster.
      For that i really dont need to spend 500 bucks on same device.

        Honor 8 Pro is selling around same price with Nova 3i in my country. I just want a smooth performance. No gaming. Seldom use camera.

          Yes, performance is on par with SD660. For $300 and that performance along with 128gb internal memory, it is a real bargain.

                  OmG wats the difference. Between 970 and 710 kirin....its almost same...970 2.4ghz cortex a73 and 1.8ghz cortex a53 on the other hand 710..2.2ghz cortex a73 and 1.7ghz cortex a53...nobody will buy expansive phones of huawei due to no difference

                    I think the A53 cores should move down to something like the Snapdragon 400 series already.
                    Cortex A72 should be a bare minimum to all Snapdragon 600 series chipsets already, at least 2 of them should be. This Kirin 710 is a great improvement to the Kirin 659 in terms of pure power, but I'm more inclined towards more powerful GPUs since CPUs are pretty much capable of handling anything,

                            A small confusion gpu is 1.3 times better means 130% or 30%??
                            130% improvement is unexpectedly grand. And so i assume its 30%

                              So 30% faster gpu than 659, is that without the software turbo boost ha ha

                                only the cpu is good, not a device for gaming
