05 October, 2011
Meant as a teaser for the upcoming 'Unpacked' event, the video ends with a brief glimpse of the Nexus Prime.

I was planning on buying the SGS III when it came out, but maybe the Nexus Prime will be another great choice

AnonD-16587, 05 Oct 2011I think we cannot yet see if the screen is curved on that l... morewith all due respect, it's actually quite obvious that the phone will sport a curved display. it's unlikely that the bottom silver portion of the device in the video is the screen, unless it's some bizarre bezel, which arguably is very incongruent with typical samsung designs. so that leaves us with the top black half - the curved screen!
also it would not make sense for them to present a phone in an upside-down profile view, unless i'm horribly mistaken and that the angle is actually that taken from the top of the phone...

AnonD-14192, 05 Oct 2011again samsung copied the design! this time from xperia arc... moreHahaha, get your facts right! Did arc have curved screen? No.. does this have curved screen? Yes.. can't you see that? Oh, btw, arc copied the design of motorola and nokia, and many other phones with flat screen.. yes, it copied the flat screen.. if you dunno what you are talking abt, it's always better to keep your mouth shut and your fingers off the keyboard..

Or the perfect combination could simply refer to that of Ice Cream Sandwich which is part Gingerbread for mobile and Honeycomb for tablet.
btw, anyone notice how slim that phone looked? No way they are putting a curved glass over a flat display like in Nexus S. Maybe they are really using a curved display this time. Samsung already got that technology right?

i believe the "gold buttons" everyone is referring to are actually connecting points to a media dock, simply because they are way too miniscule and tightly placed to be legitimately designed as buttons. a media dock would certainly help glorify that monster of a screen, but that's just my interpretation.
anyway, can't wait for samsung to set (it's own) bar even higher this time.

I can tell you for sure that my android galaxy S went through 2 software updates , hundreds of installed aplications and 0 crashes and freezez. The only thing that broke was the loudspeaker got mistaken with the earpice by the software and was fixed after restarting the phone. I can tell you for sure iOS is much more unstable , crashing regularly or freezing in an aplication. ( tested on my gf's iphone 4 and 3gs)

If they dont fail with the specs , this device will be the best phone ever realeased this year and all time .Untill the next big thing comes.

Samsung already broke all the records with the galaxy S II , and now theyre giving google everything they have . Lets hope they make it spectacular

I'd say 99% of people that buy smartphones just want a handset that works out of the box. android fails miserably in this respect, which is why the platform has never evolved beyond BETA status.

It's better than to use the normal iphone 4.So,I'm leaving you iphone 4s , byebye baby .I hope this phone is good to buy and make me resent .

Too much of a curve, i would prefer a flat device with a flat screen, I feel something that curved may get damaged in my front pocket when I seatdown.
