Does gsmarena now post news for every phone that gets released in a country? Why is this even worth an article? I don't mean this against pakistan, just why would you write an article when a phone that's long known gets released in country X? The residents of that country will surely have their local websites or stores where they get news about phones.

H-1, 20 Jul 2018But this still sells a 100 or so phones, and I doubt iPhone... morethat is a different thing and affordability is a different thing. mostly S8 users didn't switched to S9 due to less improvement. that android users might switch to find x. and yes phone is at least $300 over priced. but oppo think to get profit from one user enough of 20.

Hi lads ! I believe that this device from oppo is an excellent flagship so far ! AMOLED display , MSM 845 , Full infinity , etc . For sure it will give competition to Apple and Samsung ! and people of Pakistan can easily afford that's never the problem ! Problem is priority ! Samsung Apple and then any other brand BTW Huawei has made their name prominent in Pakistan they're progressing very fast and Oppo is merely known for it's selfie !

I still think the device is overpriced. It's just a galaxy S8 lookalike with a popping camera, so I'm paying $400 extra for a moving piece of plastic. And I don't even like Samsung!

Pakistani Govt might not be the richest among all due to corruption but people of the country have lot of money. And elite class of Pakistan consider it status symbol to carry iPhone X or Note 8. those are OPPO's target customers.

Many could afford the device in my country, but the device costs 10 months of work for the average employee as the average salary is about $100 a month.
