This is a promising step for the note line. Makes next year's iteration all the more exciting.

You seem to be wholly focused on how many mAh there is in the phone. Others do actually appreciate a pen with a phone. I don't have a Galaxy Note now and it is rather frustrating not having a pen to doodle with. Looking at your preferred lower midrange devices you're apparently not a big fan of better quality displays, more refined software and such either.

Hopefully it has that big battery and keeps the headphone jack and expandable memory.

The note series just needs its IR blaster back again and it'll be complete as the unbeatable phone.

I had note 4, 5 and note 8, note 8 i sold after 1 week. Dont like the long and small format for the note, the point is gone, so i stuck to my old phone zenfone 3 ultra, wich also have a much better battery, even the phone is made in 2016.
I now wait for the honor note 10, never again samsung, its not worth their prices any longer, sad but true.

No doubt, a big selling point, only problem is that it will take weeks for the GSMarena guys to run down the battery, thus delaying the review! :D

Seriously, I think we are all given to charging out phones every night, but what we do want is to be able to get up early, have an intense day on the phone, then just as we hit the bed late into the night and plug the phone into the charger, we still had a double digit charge left. We certainly don't want to have to charge the phone during the day.

Looks pretty good. Might actually get a note device. Then again, the S10 Plus or Pro might become the new Note, so I'll just wait
