How can xiaomi or oneplus kept other manufacturers from increasing the price? The price is hiked every year no matter what the Chinese vendors ask for their devices. And how about oneplus? They started selling their phone at a modest 400 euro and now they are selling for 570/600. How is that keeping price low?

Even cheaper than a one-year-old iPhoneX ( iPhoneX is just an overpriced junk) but anyway I would not pay more than 600€-700€ for a phone, doesn't matter how good it could be. recently I ordered a OnePlus 6 and I'm really curious to see how good this phone. respect for companies like Huawei, Xiaomi and OnePlus because of pushing other manufacturers to lower their prices.

when iphone x start to sell at 1k find is fair the whole design have being change and new hardward is thrown in.
Samsung for the note 9 u want to sell above 1k with the same design with note 8 and only update with new hardware you are crazy.

Die hard fans of those who upgrade all the time or people who upgrade after a long time will be willing to buy it and use it for a long time but my god that's expensive.
All it does is cause people to show off like when the iPhone X came out, that they paid this huge amount.
Personally all I see it doing is pushing people to the note 8 and S8 variants. As shown by higher sales of the S8 than the s9 in the same time frame.
Doesn't help that Xiaomi and oneplus etc all offer comparable offerings, faster more frequent updates all for less money.
You must really want the new s pen to buy this or be on the cutting edge, personally I would get an S8 plus or s9 plus or if you can deal with the battery life, a note 8.
