Asad, 25 Jul 2018New Material design looks way better than before. i hope it... moreLooks like bad news for large phones (lots of wasted space) especially the OLED ones (too much white = more battery drain).

    Wait this just made the whole material design ideology useless. I mean if everything will be white then there won't be a need for devs to turn their apps to look like native apps. Farewell material design, most Chinese phone companies never implemented you anyway.

      Putting the action bar at the bottom of the page is logical and copied from BlackBerry 10 OS (which was introduced in 2013). It took 5 years to imitate. Well done Google.

            Maybe it automatically turns to dark theme when the user is in dark environment.

                    hope samsung adapt material design - they just imitate ios and make blur here and there which sucks. (note 8 user)

                              More pointless change for change sake, just to make people relearn the user interface they are already familiar with.

                                Glad im oneplus user and it has black theme... White google theme just burns my eyes at night

                                  This is a downgrade from the original Material Design. Now Google will be on par with iOS. Not a leader anymore.
