Anonymous, 25 Jul 2018That's ridiculous. Why should it be 500 when Samsung/LG/Hua... moreBecuase they have a market, because they have a real customer service, because they fix their problems and don't completely ignore their customers (don't get me wrong they don't do everything perfectly but SONY does literally ignore their customers and leave them alone with their problems, the last one is the XZ Display problem), because they have a good camera, because they have nice design (XZ design is ridicules) and because people gonna pay 700bucks for a Samsung or Huawei.

Maybe Sony decided to use a single camera with a big sensor rather than dual camera with a small sensor. Because between those two, the big sensor will always win.

But that means that it still looks great, so it's not a big problem.

Excellent design. I will skip the premium and go for this if camera performance is as good as the premium. Certainly going to miss the 3.5mm jack but their are not much choices left.

That one camera is the new 48MP one. I'll take that behemoth over a 10-camera setup anyday of the week. Screw pointless dual camera setups.

If I plan to buy a SONY someday I would not pay more than 500€ at launch and some months later no more than 400€ and I think many people agree with me. SONY is a dead brand in the smartphone market.

It looks great but I don‘t like that it uses an edge screen. But that‘s an aspect I can understand if they did it to break with the prejudice that Sony phones are bland bricks.
