I also heard that issues on some P20 Pro users too.
Maybe EMUI 8 is not yet optimized on this game.
My Y7 Prime 2017 already played like a beast. (Default graphics with this awesome knock down camera)

Something decent like the ... moreI just set it to default to play it well. Welp, at least the game didn't disappoint me that much without those graphic intense HDR effects. Snapdragon 435 is still capable of playing it until now.
BTW, Huawei just updated my phone for EMUI 5.1.2 for minor security improvements and those cheesy yet useless Bloatware. (2.26GB)

Something decent like the overused SD625 can easily run this game at FHD+ resolution and High visual quality setting

I thought my SD625 device would struggle to run the game at High visual quality setting, especially with a FHD+ display
Turns out the game plays very well; not exactly the smooth of pure 60fps and beyond, but definitely very playable and responsive

Damn, I didn't expect it to perform way better than ASPHALT 8 in terms of gameplay, even though the graphics look more graphically intensive. At least that is a good thing I noticed after I installed it...

Seriously, how many of you actually noticed the things like HDR dynamic lightings, sun rays, particles, etc etc during racing in the game? I don't personally. As long as the game does not lag, I'm good. LOL
