And for the bloatware, yeah there are some that you can disable/uninstall manually, but a lot that needs the bloatware disable app. I can give you link, if gsma will allow it, to the app. The exynos models before s6, easily lasted 2-4 days on battery. Depending on the model. S5 and note 4 was the best on battery life time. And yes, I switch phones 2-3 times yearly. Depending on what falls best in my needs and attention.

From what i see bloatware actually had decreased. S8 only has 37 preinstalled app and you can uninstall 25 of it. S6 had 50 apps and bloatware out of the box back then. Most cant be uninstalled. I believe s5 has even more. Also battery was way smaller in s5. Power bank was highly needed back then. So, who clearly dont know what we have back then?

Luxor, 26 Jul 2018Your reality is messed up. I'm well aware of that now. Qual... moreYou clearly doesn't know what was back then. The quality of the unique Samsung died after s5 and note 4. Back when they lasted days on battery, didn't crack screen or back from dropping the phone, had unique features that are slowly getting back, have great durability and was tough. Now you need power banks, covers, screen protector and tiny hands so you don't press or activate edge features. Bloatware went from 50+ to 90+.

Why do you think less and less repair shops want to be Apple and Samsung certified? Because of the low pay, high price and slave bound contracts.

              Surely you know one.

Sorry for that fact. But you Sammy and Apple sheeps are purely blinded from the truth, even though it won't change the reality.

Bloatware apps are license cost that forced or paid to be installed into the device. I guess you not aware enough. Samsung technically still worth the price of the material it made from.

                      Seems really reasonable!

And it still costs under 300$ to make the phone. Remove the bloatware, and the phone would even go under 200$ to make. I'm well aware of all the bs you mentioned, but that still doesn't mean that Samsung is worth what it was before.

But it'll take them one and half years (after stock Android releases it) just to get the first OS update released because of the amount of crap and $-hit that they load, typical of Samsung.

Zenodroid, 25 Jul 2018It's not a cent more worth than 300$.Actually, according to Techinsight the manufacturing cost for Note8 is $369. If we add all the hidden cost like labor, R&D, delivery, taxes, marketing, and profit it hike up the price quite a lot. Hey, you need to pay the people who doing all the work dont you? No one work for free. Selling it in manufacturing cost means zero profit; so financial report for Samsung will be negative. Its like asking for Starbucks drinks only for $1, just the ingredient cost. Your low awareness in business management is understandable for average person.

$500 for a phone with super slow updates and patches plus will lag in less than a year? No, thanks Samsung.
