                I expect more ram means more apps can run in the background. Hope no aggresive apps management. Games should run smoothly especially high end games. Those that are 3D in particular, can consume huge amounts of RAM storing game graphics, textures, 3D models and sound. So, this is probably a gaming phone.

                            When you see this kind of news, you realise how bad android actually is. My pc has 8 gb ram, and works: Flowesly. Shhht, fan's, i use android too,. The difference is? I actually realise how bad this syetem.can be. Really really really bad. With this kind of hardware, even an server works perfectly. I am talkicng abou big rigs.

                              10GB RAM is unnecessary!! Imagine a phone with 128GB internal and capacity will be 118GB. The more RAM, lesser the storage.

                                Which ne of available SoC is capable of more than 8GB RAM?

                                  For years they say mobiles are not as powerful as PCs but with laptops being stagnant for years the only place still seeing some action is the mobiles.

                                  So via the mobile route we may finally get powerful work platforms back. Think of a laptop shell where you put your phone and run windows (windows support Qualcomm by now) or better yet professional software coming to Linux/android.

                                  IMO it is the only way to see YoY increase in work performance. In laptops a 2013 laptop is very similar to a 2018 one. In mobiles a 2013 phone is nothing like a 2018 one performance wise...
