I'm not blaming you for anything, but here you go again putting words in my mouth and purposefully misunderstanding me.

As I said, you don't have to agree with me.
How silly can you be thinking I have an agenda. For what? Breaking people's trust in Samsung? By commenting on a site most normal people don't attend?

Maybe you're the one with an agenda, trying to start a flame war, and your previous comments do sound like that.. hmm?

H-1, 30 Jul 2018I'll tag a long.. I made a ridiculous statements: 1- base... moreNote 9 suggested price: 1050 euros (at brick and mortar retailers)
Oppo Find X suggested price: 999 euros (online)

The Note 9 comes with a 1440p display while the Oppo comes with a 1080p display.
Who's charging too much out of those two?

The prices are high on ALL flagships, not just Samsung's. I've complained about that for a long time, too. They are all getting away with way too high margins on sales. Samsung is however not worse than their competitors. Especially when you consider Chinese brands like Oppo and Vivo making their devices in the supposedly much cheaper China.

            I made a ridiculous statements:
            1- based on your opinion
2- English isn't my first language.

So while trying to convey my ideas you're trying hard to twist and ridicule them instead of trying to understand. Very mature of you.

I'll make my points as clear as possible this time:
            1. Samsung is in no place to troll others (which is in line with this post) since they're doing things they used to troll.

            2. Note 9 may be a good (even great) device, but I'm still paying more than I should. And this goes for most other flagships. As the average price for flagships was ~$500 a few years back. I know things change, so please let's not go there.

            3. I used to be a die-hard phone fan, so I understand your feelings. Let's just call a truce and stop making fun of each other.

You can reply whatever you want, I will stop here.
            Wish you a good day.

Also, I've recommended Samsung in real life (can't prove it to you, sadly) but two of my acquaintances bought Note 8, three bought S8, and one bought the S9+ based on my opinion and they're perfectly happy with them.

Not wanting to buy from a company doesn't make me a hater, and pointing out flaws in the system doesn't make me a troll.

I have an opinion, you can like it or not, I can make it more clear if you want. Debating further doesn't mean I'm forcing you to agree with me, and in turn, I don't have to agree with you. Opinions differ and that's good. Making fun of opinions is bad.

While I haven't said any bad word or made fun of Duck of death, you used many against me. Always nice to have anons coming in for a trolling session.

I'm not saying the galaxy note 9 is an entirely bad device, but since the start (years ago) I was against Samsung's biannual flagship schedule, and still am. Especially now when the price of said flagships has doubled.

My words are not carefully worded to make me sound right, but they to convey my opinion as clearly as possible, which apparently you failed to get.

I'll make it simple: yes this applies to all devices, but those don't come twice yearly, and price difference is usually marginal (exceptions exist), where the new product takes the price of the old and the latter becomes cheaper. This happens once every 1-5 years depending on the product.
With smartphones, users feel an urge to upgrade with each overinflated ad. Add the pressure of low contract price and there you go, millions of phones bought and tossed yearly for a minor upgrade.

I have a strict policy of upgrading after at least two years, because I've been there once, upgrading once a year (or more) without seeing tangible difference.

The fact is, post processing can only guess what it's fixing while a better sensor and lens can get an actual better picture. Going back to your previous comment, the reference point is a high end DSLR (or in phone world dittos a high end MILC). The day a phone takes pictures like that is the day they can barely improve a smartphone camera any more. We're a LONG way away from that.
Also, I'm not 100% pro Note and you 99% against. Nothing in your comments shows that you're anything less than 110% against Samsung. I'm actually hedging between getting the new Note or one of the bezel "free" Chinese phones this time around. Though, I am leaning towards the Note as Samsung has a much better track record when it comes to delivering stable software and updates. Plus, Samsung tends to not cut any corners on anything with their Note phones.

Because lens set, aperture and post-processing algorithm are different.

If you want to see what good post processing can do we can carry this over E-mail, I have samples from my $80 phone that put some flagships to shame.

I even prefer it when taking quick notes as my hand writing doesn't suffer from the autocorrection syndrome.

You asked what was better, so, giving you a full day of heavy use definitely beats having to choose either tippy toeing through the day or worry about when to charge it. The daily Sophie's choice iPhone users has to live with.

Better camera sensors has ZERO to do with post processing. Better camera sensors means you need less artificial post processing. In a perfect world there would be no post processing needed.

Better camera sensor: depends of post-processing and unless Samsung figures a way to fit a small DSLR inside not much improvement can be noticed.

I would be glad to argue for a few days, but our point is, how much better overall experience could the note 9 deliver. Tangible experience, not spec sheet numbers.
