H-1, 28 Jul 2018My argument is, what does the note 9 have to offer this yea... morePen, bigger battery, better camera sensor, larger storage, more RAM, larger screen, faster wireless.... There's more but I hope you get the picture.
It is impossible for anyone to make a two year better phone in a 6 month time line, literally, physically, real-worldistically impossible. This is the amount of improvements the best hardware manufacturer in the world can eke out six months later.

Not true th... moreIt comes down to opinion.
For first I got the timeline messed up a bit.
As far as I can remember, note 2 had a faster processor, bigger ram, and unofficial support lasted way longer than S2. Some units still run fine to this day using lollipop or nougat.
I haven't used a Samsung device in my life and don't plan to any time soon. But old notes had certain characteristics the S line lacked, but after note 5 the difference, like you said, became just size and pen.

I would like that Samsung sell 845 model in Spain as with the exynos can not usefull for hard gaming, console emulators, etc... this note9 is not one step forward... is the same than in the european S9+ :(

Not true the size difference doesn't really make it appealing. Dpi sucked s2 has a better screen size dpi and technology
Note 3 was miles better than S3
Probably the only true statement
Note 4 was miles better than S4
Not miles pen and size difference doesn't make it miles ahead. They are equal
Note 5 was miles better than S5
S5 definitely better . S5 had water resistant better size. Note had the weird leather back no water resistant
Note edge was miles better than S6
Note edge just sucked
Note 7... ok skip that

Note 8 was better than S8 but with a small margin.

Note series has pretty much been size and pen. Sometimes lacking feature like water resistance. But now it's just getting closer to just being size and pen again. So I guess they added battrey.

The camera won't be much better, performance as well, there's just the pen. So you're paying extra for the pen. And most people I know stopped using the pen after a while *shrug*

At the end if the post i mean: if samsung didt apply something new about quick charges tech on note 9, there will be no point getting 4000mah, 5000mah...
Surely somebody will mention 5v2a(qc2 that Samsung keep using) will charge the battery on about 2.5hours.
But what overall people need was 1 to 1.5 hours charge for a phone.
So a car charge can get the phone from 10-40% about 20 minutes.

The Note models aren't there as replacements for the S models launched half a year ago. For the vast majority they're replacements for people with 2-3 years old phones. Compare it to a Note Edge or a Galaxy S7 plus. That's the difference most people will noteice.
