Anonymous, 28 Jul 2018Poor Samsung not first in anything these days.Samsung has been first at many many things. HD capabilities, phone cameras, most mega pixel updates up to 12, phase detection, dual pixel..
Not to mention their constant lead and power in technology and supply that always has other users on edge claim their favorite brand is so much better in desperation.

LG also did too. So Samsung and LG were first. Huawei probably just buy the supply from Samsung or LG. No other OLED makers out there can supply flexible oled in large quantity.

Look at the Kirin 970 claiming to be the world's first processor with an NPU, well Apple launched later but shipped the A11 first in the iP8.
Look at their claim of ISO102400 at the launch of the P20P, it's still unavailable months later yet Sony's XZ2P's reviews are already out with ISO51200 support.
They could do a presentation in 2018 yet ship after Samsung and still shamelessly boast that they got there first.
