Umer, 29 Jul 2018I need a phone with qualcomm snapdragon 710, full HD+ 18:9 ... moreYou have phone with similar spec on the market for about (just) 320$. It's a Mi 8 SE. I think that runs on MIUI skin, but for 5 minute you can instal stock Android version, because it supports treble (like every smartphone with 8.0-8.1 or newer, preinstalled).

Geric.770, 29 Jul 2018Nokia 7 Plus is the real rival here. Honourable mentions t... moreI think that Nokia 7 is better phone, than A2, just because of battery capacity. But then again, price of Nokia is higher for 100 euros.. But A2 for like 140 euros is not bad (smaller) phone. Only notch is there, but at least its cheap Android One smartphone from 2018.

It would be amazing if they manage to make MI A2 in the footprint of MI A2 lite, and the thickness under 8mm.

I'm fine without an SD card slot and the small battery but it would be a tough decision to choose the Mi A2 without the headphone jack.🚫

Redmi Note 5 Pro still better choice here .. only problem is its running on MIUI instead of Stock android

This smartphone is a real disappointment as the battery life is subpar also it omits a headphone jack when the mi A1 had the best audio experience in that price range also skipping a micro SD slot with 32gb base variant is baffling all in all other than the camera I don't like this device not a worthy upgrade from mi a1

Mi A2's advantage was the stock Android, other than that Mi Note 3 is a much better choice. The A2 Lite on the other hand has an aging SoC and looks like the "Plus" version of the Mi A1 that should be released together. The naming and product succession is inconsistent and I don't like it.

                                    Nokia 7 Plus it is!
Thank you Xiaomi for messing things up on a phone that can just be better than the other phones if you decided not to do the stup*d decisions.

The A2 is a very good phone with a very good price but I'm a bit disappointed with the battery size and lack of a headphone jack.

As an alternative there is Nokia 7 plus with a much bigger battery, a 3.5 jack, SD card slot and a fast charger in the box. It is more expensive though at about $350-375, compared to mi a2's expected $270-290.

It's not an easy choice. I, personally, think the extra money is worth paying to get those extra things.

Nokia 7 Plus is the real rival here.
Honourable mentions to Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 and the old but still solid Xiaomi Mi A1.

It's good. Everything is fine for a 2018 phone.
