I am tired of mobile phones with cameras of less than 5MP resolution. The manufacturers would be better off EXCLUDING the camera and lowering the cost that including one that takes rubbish photos.

In these times where people dont trust nokia anymore, thay have no room to make mistakes. With this move it seems luike they have given up. The much awaited wp7 must really be good.

Internet is the future for developing countries according the smartphone manufacturers and a growing young population in the south - a billion of them and many of them who dont have a computer all wanting internet in their first device. Besides if manufactures such as ZTE and Huawei - big in Asia produce cheap smartphones with internet access why would somebody go for resistive Nokia with dead OS and no 3g or Wifi? Why stick a smartphone OS on a dumb phone? In UK Samsung Galaxy Europa is going at £50 with upgradable Android 2.2 Froyo, Capacitive display, 3G, Wifi. I used to love Nokia and their entry levels nearly always made sense. But they really have hit rock bottom it seems, I predict these would be a disaster unless they start at £30 unlocked

Even grandparent nowadays want a decent camera...worst case 3mp to take pic of their grandchild...n wifi for facebook...actully this one is targeting at lower group age...6 to 9 years old

This product is very logical.
With Nokia 500 comming soon in the price range a bit above C5-03, the real C5-03 need to be retired, and re-born as cheaper solution.
Meanwhile, the 52xx doesn't look as good as the C5-03. So, kudos for nokia on this one.

So 5233 and 5230 replacements are ready :) Decent improvement in design and CPU speeds if the pricing is kept similar to the old models.
