                JayrBars, 30 Jul 2018Its been months Nokia 7 plus is on sale in the philippines.... moreAnd because they are on top, it's sad to see Filipinos really want a "Selfie Expert" midrange cameras these days.

                As an enthusiast, I don't really care much on FFCs due to the poor resolution and fixed focus. I like the way Meizu 7 Pro innovated that second screen on the back. It really hooks me to buy before but yeah, it's Meizu and they are still underrated these days.

                Also, I consider the Nova 3i as again the beast of midrangers in our country because it costs less than the F7 and V9, has bigger storage and comparable SoC, and sleek glass back. (I don't wanna talk notches, but yeah it's there.)

                  Geric.770, 29 Jul 2018I still prefer Mi A1 because: 1. It's a downgrade for me. ... more1. Actually the Mi A2 Lite is the real succesor of Mi A1, specs wise and price wise. So you still get the 3.5mn jack. The omission of the 3.5mm jack on the Mi A2 might be a down grade for some, including you of course, if and only if you are an audiophile.
                  2. Mi A2 Lite pricewise is at least on the price range.
                  3. Take not the price difference, the nokia contender is more expensive.

                  All in all, it all comes down to preference of what people do with their phones, and brand for some.

                    And i think it is just your opinion that the nova 3i is the mid range king as you are a fan (understandabke), again may be you havent well.
                    Oppo and vivo still sits on top of our market, with samsung and huawei following.
                    Its a different story on flagships, we already know who they are. They are also the world's top.

                      EMUI has receiving more security updates on the past months with my Y7 Prime 2017. Heck, the latest update even takes it to EMUI 5.1.2.

Currently quite a number of phone are on the list of getting GPU Turbo update too. Not only security patch update also android version update. EMUI is quite clean in my opinion. Pretty much 50/50 between stock and custom.

                          Geric.770, 29 Jul 2018It's actually on par with the F7 on benchmarks though. EMUI... moreHaving doubts on the performance of Huawei phones with their software. Their hardware is indeed good but Kirin 710 is far with SD 710 currently on benchmarks.

                          EMUI is a bit disappointing for a custom ROM build. It just doesn't comply with everyone on the market. But it depends on the user of course. It's just that Huawei does not know on how to keep with competition especially with their lack of updates and resolution to known bugs plaguing their current and old models.

                              Huawei Nova 3I looks intriguing but the software of Huawei just makes me want to stand back from it. Good price yet not good performance.

                                        IDK why the Mi A1 has so much bug issues than other Nokia's though.

                                        Anyways, Nokia 7 Plus is not to be seen in my country. So...
                                        I'm expecting this device to be available at least on Manila.
                                        But I doubt also, because Nova 3i already sits the throne as the best midrange phone here in Philippines. :/
