I'm no Apple fan, in fact I'd go as far as saying I wouldn't keep an iGadget is it were given to me, but theses figures just go to show there's still a massive market for smaller screened, cool looking phones. Apps? Android Market has more, so it must all be about the pose factor. You may have the latest quad core'd million Ghz Android phone around, but the only bragging rights would be with geeks.. at least you could feel smug inside though and not feel like a sheep.

This could have been 2 million pre-orders if Samsung didn't threaten to sue Apple on IPHONE 5 on wireless patents.

Hi there, I've preordered a 4S. I've been told that there might well be a delay and so who knows I might end up getting the new Nexus. I've had two 2 iphones and a HTC desire.
It's not about specs in the end. It's about software, support and apps. Apple make sure that they get the most of their hardware and tend to give great support through updates. It's not all rosy by any means! iphone 4 camera under florescent lights anyone????
I've always said that I would only buy android again if it was for a nexus. It's simply for the support. I'm delighted that Google have purchased motorola and hope to buy moto again in the future!
When I look at the specs of a lot of androids it just leaves me cold. How many times will it crash? How many bugs will I encounter. How many months do I wait until I receive the update? Apple is like how consoles used to be. Gaming on consoles used to be great since everything was optimised. Whilst you're PC gaming for me was just too much of a hassle with patches etc..even though when it worked, it was great!

If the cost was less, i might get one, but we both know that will never happen...

The thing is about apple products is that you pay more for the quality. id love to see anyone still having a structurally sound gs2 in 18 months. Plus Apple products utilise the hardware better than any other products, thats just a fact. dont be a spec sheet bitch or a fanboy have a go on one and then judge.

Still iPad was the one which made people really consider tablets... Same for dual cores... Optimus 2X was the first phone with dual core but S2 was the one which first became a hit... And about the 8MP bit, most flagship phones got a 8MP camera.. Why dont you complain there??? Because your brain is wired to just find faults in iDevices, thats all...

Blows my... moreits called "choice" I research all these phones have own them both Android and iOS and i'll still buy the iphone, when it comes to heavy day to day usage my iphone battery last me all day long where my Samsung died @ 1600. You buy the Android because it suits your needs so why cant all others buy what works for them without all the hate?? We could say the same for Mac vs. PC

Seriously, both sentences convey the same meaning, but which one do you think will get a nicer response? The truth is, we can probably all have a great discussion, if we just left out the personal insults.

Plane and simple it doesn't matter if it is an Apple iPhone 4/5/6/7.. etc it will sell like hotcakes regardless of design, hardware & software do to its fan base alone.. No argument there. All I am saying is wouldn't it be great if Apple continued to "innovated" and release something mind blowing instead of using outdated hardware and software (app drawer) and do something new for a change. I have owned an iPhone 2G/3GS/4 and with the iPhone 4 I got a bit bored honestly. It did what it was attended to do but it lacked luster right now Q4 2011 compared to other offerings. I think what really is holding it back is its tiny screen. I mean come on you put a dual core cpu with dual core Gpu on a 3.5" screen?

Im going wait for the actual sales numbers because i have
a suspicion that it will only be composed of the same old apple flock and that the iphone 4s won't significantly expand the user base of Apple or Apple's market share.
New phone buyers would not invest in something that still looks like the same phone from almost 2 years ago.
I mean why buy something that uses the same old design inspite
inspite of the updated specs?
It can be mistaken for the old iphone 4.
Spin this as you will.
It should've been higher than this to be a real success.
