If Apple can continue its ecosystem growth, then in the not-so distant future (4-8 years) the primary income of Apple will be services (Apps, iTunes, Pay, Car Services, MFi, Care, Ads etc etc) and not hardware.

The reality of the situation is, that usually the Top 10% of users are responsible for paying for 90% of the market.

It seems this "report" is just trying to make people get on the Apple Pay train.

I would recommend never getting on. Don't let an American company handle all your money and every little payment you make, for a fee. Use your country's banks own apps for that, or better yet just pay with your debit card.

Letting American companies "get in" on all the little small payments we do just to make our daily lives work, is basically a big siphon for global currency into America. This is something that must be considered.

Her in Australia, only ANZ and some small players are signing up to use Apple pay, the other three major banks are all doing Google pay. So roughly 90% NFC payments done by phone are Android. Go fact

If iPhone sales drop too, or just other companies grow and take a portion of the smartphone marketshare, then how are people going to use Apple Pay to begin with...
