I don't get why people are so fanatic with Symbian.
Let's all move on and givce Nolkia a chance to see if it did the right thing and adopt WP as its new OS.
Smartphones are now governed by the ecosystem - its apps - and now, only iOS, Android, and WP have that power. Even RIM is sinking fast and the Blackberry will soon be an extinct device.
Evolution requires adaptation. Let's move on and see what the device can really do.

Symbian is DEAD. Abandoned. Gone. Old school.
The name of the game is APPS, and iOS, Android, and WP all have them. 3 phone OS'es are enough choices for everyone.

we are a nokia fan and we bycot the nokia windows phone 7 marketing nightmare . Plz say nothing to winnokia phone and say yes to symbian .

I saw the N900 in the store today. Excellent touch interface, rapid response, beautiful screen. Surprisingly small it looks bigger in the pictures. Loved it, too bad Nokia's Meego line was abandoned.

Those are good specs and it is not a ridiculously huge phone like samsung is making these days ( with screens 4.5" and above). The android OS might be good and hardware might be good but those big screens make the phones look stupid.
Nokia is king of hardware and it knws what will be the best specs for a phone.

Once they launch their WP offerings and reviews are out, I'll be ready to ditch my SGS for good and buy a WP7.5 phone as I am getting tired of issues with this android device, beside android just looks like a clone of ioS. :)

But WP7 isn't as good as MeeGo or even Symbian Belle, Stephen eFlop you are a big time fail!
Hope the next Apollo is far better in terms of openess and customization.

Come on Nokia. Stick a front view camera and an LED flash and I'll get it day one. Can't wait to get a new phone. It'll definitely be a Windows Phone though.
