Thanks for the update Nokia Australia keeps on blaming my carrier for not allowing the Anna update to flow through to my N8, but according to your article as per the Nokia rep..Anna has NOT been released in Australia. Why can't Nokia Australia just be honest and admit it is NOT AVAILABLE. I have always had Nokia phones but I cannot wait for the Samsung Note to arrive in Australia that'my next phone..STUFF YOU NOKIA.

i know that this might sound awkward,but nokia, i beg that as you leave symbian to microsoft, try and get our symbian belle, etc, to run ms windows os update...if it is possible do it and your symbian phones in stock, i bet will sell forever. anyway, i remain in love with only one phone company in the world, nokia! despite that belle is not coming on the afore-mentioned date, i still keep hope with my darling company, that i will soon enjoy belle, and fortunately windows on my cellphone. keep faith fans and thank them for the anna; more is on its way! nokia, the pride of cell communication...talk the talk!

.what products and what updates they are giving.mobile was fine with S3 as Anna installed it started hanging and god knows after Belle surely it will go for long sleep.

Focusing on bringing Anna to US? What the h*ll are they thinking? Nokia has already decided that they will pull out all Symbian device from US. That means they are doing useless thing!

For $300-$700 dollar phone you would expect some level of laptop qualities/shine. Symbian Belle GUI looks like something HTC has in 2006 for interface. Maybe Nokia is only good for that third world market that wants a simple cellphone, the smartphone market from nokia feels like scraps patch together.

I have the so called: flagship of nokia. Its really bad, slow, resistance touch screen, unreliable, and expensive. I hate to say this, but I am glad, they are going down. Nokia sucks

The colors of the display, the battery, the built, you can do almost anything on it.
You are not saying anything about why your phone sucks to you.

For those of us who have already flashed the leaked Belle onto our N8s this news is perplexing. The leaked version I have is incredibly stable and far superior to Anna. There are some relatively minor issues that I hope will be ironed out in the official release. The latest version of Joikuspot does not work (but I have managed to get version 2.5 working fine). Videos of Nokia 700 show that Belle has two different sized analog clock widgets whereas the leaked version only has one. These are very minor points though and it is hard to understand why we cannot have Belle sooner rather than later. It just looks indecisive and pointless on the part of Nokia. When Nokia has really promising products available it makes no sense to hold them up.

Nice to see from that quote they still are pushing getting Anna to us here in the United States. I know Belle looks awesome but I'd be happy with just getting Anna for now. I'm tired of typing texts in portrait without a qwerty.

Can't update to belle without anna. read between the lines....anna hasn't come state side as yet and b4 belle, anna has to be released to everyone. i'm thinking belle will probably 'ring' in the new year or something after EVERYONE has anna.

let me tell you my story with nokia
first when i had tested the first Nokia it was a N70 i was in love with it i have used for couple of years and i drop it after and then i bought another Nokia which is the N9OO and i regret leaving it btw i really miss this guy and i'll buy one again and then i bought an N8 just because i saw a video about the BELLE update and now i'm surprised about this news that tells we are not gettin' the belle update because me i have no problem behind waiting i already have the BELLE i'm a professional programmer and it was so simple to me to take the risk but i still wanna be a normal user and to get the official update , i will keep my nokia even after that , but i'll move to N900 and i'll concentrate with developing apps and programs for it , and i hope i can bring the belle to everyone here i really wish that .

there goes my birthday gift from nokia, apart from eating into my RAM, anna hasnt bn that xciting, the split screen happened onli once on my phone and upto now I Havnt seen it again, all the same I will still wait for belle, cauze when i check it out on u tube, its another world altogether, Nokia need to style up in communicating, though in actual support in firmware updates Nokia stands out but the delays do not help, n yes Nokia makes durable phones unlike the plastics being churned out by some brands
