Anonym, 06 Aug 2018It makes even more sense to sell it in the biggest market o... moreI don't think so, probably they just want to test the market first if this will sold and give them good profit. Plus, there is also a rumor that it has production issues that might also the cause them to sell this in selected market. We all know that their main target is market where dual sim is not really necessary as the reason why they are not making phones that has the dual sim capabilities, now, lets give them the chance to prove it first to their chosen market and see what will be the outcome.

dvdivx, 06 Aug 2018If they support enough LTE bands it is a world phone. That'... moreThey support all the European bands on their global products it's america that supports all the wierd bands that nobody ever uses. It's probably on purpose for protectionist purposes.

Does qualcomm get more royalties from dual sim phones? Is that why single sim phones still exist? It makes no sense at all.

dvdivx, 06 Aug 2018If they support enough LTE bands it is a world phone. That'... moreThat's because of legal issues and patents they aren't paying for outside of china or India. Have you not noticed that when they sell stuff online they only sell it on Indian or Chinese online stores and just create a global ROM for a market specific phone. They are selling it cheaper because of that. They are not paying for royalties.

Instead of putting dual-SIM for worldwide (if ever that will happen), why not have MicroSD expansion? But I doubt they'll ever do that because they won't make more $$$ from forcing users to buy the bigger storage capacity iPhones.

                      Get an SD card first!!!!

If they support enough LTE bands it is a world phone. That's something Chinese phone companies seem to not understand at all. It's almost like Xiaomi and Huawei don't want the world market and want Samsung and Apple to remain on top especially outside China and India.

It makes even more sense to sell it in the biggest market of them all: the entire world.
