Anonymous, 12 Oct 2011Why nokia and google can't be partners?Well my friend, because Android is a memory hungry, battery consuming overweight Operating system that requires faster and faster processors in the handset to keep running at a respectable speed. Google developed/stole code for Android purely to make money on advertisement online. And just like advertising, the more appealing and shiny that OS is, the more likely you little birds will snatch it up. This is not a business model that Nokia fallows.
A lot of Nokia's handsets have been creative and interesting in design. Look at the X7 and N8. Those are slick looking phones! Androids are really starting to look quite similar to one another, save maybe Sony Ericssons (which I was a rabid fan of before I got my N8).

This is a very nice looking phone, and the size is just right for me - not too big nor too small, just perfect.

So many people bashing wm7. I have used wm7, ios, and android and I have to say that ios is probably still my favorite but wm7 is not much behind with huge improvements with the mango update just give wm7 a couple years they will be as good or even better then ios.

I was a nokia die hard fan and i would've never pictured myself buying another brand but with the way things have been going lately (poor improvements of symbian and its expected death, abandoning meego and switching to the weird/dull windows phone 7) I must say goodbye to you nokia,i'm moving to android.

[deleted post]That's a very vague argument. Which OS is the Chinese car and BMW, you're not being very clear. Both OS'es have thier ups and downs.

As their major market OS, Windows 7.5 Will be a smart choice for Nokia. Microsoft did what Sony Ericsson did: underestimate the market. They both have learned from there mistakes. I Will ruby with Symbian myself as long as it's supported, but for regular Joes and not nerds like us, Mango Will be great. I have a XBOX Live account and it would be awesome to interact with it be receive more features from it on the go. I won't change phones to get that though.

there're many opportunities in meego harmattan core period.
