T-Mobile UK and Orange UK to start sharing their 3G networks

Users of either carrier will get access to both networks, which should bring better coverage and data speeds.

          If u set ur phone to only work on 3g, then it will jump to T-Mobile 3g.

            All depends on where you live and which area the masks are, here where i live on orange you will get 3.5G or HSDPA at 7.5 mips and T-MOBILE. And thats on pay monthly or pay as u go.

              Hi Im wid 3 for last 3 yrs staff wid 3..to confirm 3G has largest largest netwrk coverge covering 98% of UK poplution for more can log onto three.co.uk.

                    i did work for o2 and they let 3 use there 2g network and since 3 let o2 use there 3g network it mayhave changed but cant see o2 not looking long term in thet initial contract

                        Best 2G coverage? Yes I'd agree, but not ideal for an internet intensive smart phone user.

                            O2 has the worst coverage, 3G900 might chance that, if it is done to every mast.

                              im on o2 and happy but at my parents in Newport yorkshire hardly any signal and i lose it in the house and for some reason in Scotland the signal for o2 where my sisters live is shocking. hopefully te T-mobile and Orange coverage will make for a great network

                                    Orange is the only network that i can get a signal on in my parents house, also there are loads of places round where i live that you can only get a signal on orange

I work for o2, we have one of the best 3g network coverage in the UK. No one else in the UK covers more ofthe UK than O2. Get your facts right mate. I have thoroughly researched this as well. Orange and t-mobile together still don't cover more than o2. I have mates on both t-mobile and orange who suffer from losing signal on bus journeys, walking and in houses. They all end up switching to the t-mobile network because it is the strongest but never have a constant strong signal where as myself and my wife have brilliant signal all over the UK.
