Let me guess: The chinese mafia pays hmd who pay nokia to build phones for them, so they can make money, Right? Or wait wait, i have another ideea: All chinese people pay hmd to build Nokia phones so they can buy them and look at them how cool they are, right? Oh, no wait. The chinese rich people actually invest money in hmd? Sounds normal. Apple has more chinese investors then you can count. Actually all products this days have chinese investores among all their investors, why would hmd be any different? Now, if i am russian and i invest my money in hmd, which i could perfectly do, makes the phones russian? It might, by the mentality of yours if a sheep was born in an acvarium it is actually a fish.

Nothing you said disproves anything I said - if you honestly think he had the necessary capital and connections to start this whole operation, you are just being ridiculous. Buying a well-known but dormant brand is a typical Chinese investment through and through - exactly the same happened with Blackberry and Palm.

Jean-Francois became Procurement Director at Compaq in 1994 where he worked under the direct leadership of Apple CEO Tim Cook, before being hired into Nokia Corporation in 1999 as Senior Vice President and CPO.
Under his leadership, Nokia’s supply chain was recognized in 2007 by AMR Research as the best in the world. Jean-Francois also won a 2010 EIPM-Peter Kraljic Award for Excellence for Organisation of the Year.

That's what sammy is also doing... also all chinese brands have poor video recording and poor voice recording... where as hmd does actually give u good mics and good vid rec... apart from processor and ram/memory chinese brands give u nothing... hmd is vice versa ! So its not a Chinese brand in anyway. But its phones sure are not worth buying...

After more than 2 months of waiting, finally
the Nokia 3.1 will arrive in the Philippines this Wednesday (Aug.15). I will buy it. I like its slim but tall design. Initially, I wanted to buy the Xperia XA1. But after I have read so many complains about its touchscreen, it left me no choice but to find another phone with similar size dimension, and Nokia 3.1 is the closest.

All these stupidity are for the hike in price of X6 (6.1 plus). They thought they are going to grab the entire midrange market in india with X6 bcoz of its over hype. So they want to hike the price of it upto 20K. Nokia thinks indians are fools. They want to sell a 13K phone (in china) for 20K in india. Nokia losts its respect
Anything above 16K for X6 is not worthy. Mi A2 will destroy X6 for sure.
