After all, so much RnD time went into that one, just about a year to develop it. Shame tho they didnt have time or enough money to come up with sth else new too.

Their XZ2 (non-Premium) already had the chance to be the device of experiment for Android Pie, so that gave Sony enough idea as to all the possible bugs and other issues with the software, and so by this time, they might have fixed them already and is just preparing for the official release anytime soon.
And I want to guess; the XZ3, like the XZ1 and XZ1 Compact with Oreo, will again be the first smartphone to get released with Android Pie out of the box.

It's a known fact that Sony will release Pie on this phone within a matter of months or even weeks after polishing everything.
2 - Any premium smartphone is offering great services. Only thing is that this premium smartphone has some characteristics that no other phones have, such as the camera and display. Others like the Note 9 are worth mentioning, but they're about as boring as my life is.

I respect the excellent cameras, but customer support isn't matched like Apple's. It's a premium phone, and it needs all things as "premium" as possible.
