Who NEED to play their music everywhere and at all times across all devices? Sounds like obsessive listening, or like one of the not-so-popular boys who spend a lot of time to preapre for a chance to impress a girl, like the ones in the commercials who has an app to control the coffee maker only to impress guests, just that in this case the guy has no guests.
I feel genuinely sorry for the guys who have wireless speakers in all rooms and streaming services across all devices and then goes around listening to it like a sad loner. This doesnt fill a need, just a compulsive obsession.

Either you don't know how Spotify works or Samsung's music player.

I'd far rather have samsung S Music player pre installed than a streaming service that keeps asking me to pay a monthly subscription (Google play.) But I'm guessing they're driven by whatever income they'll be making from Spotify

Deezer partnership was way better than Spotify. They provide a better sound quality listening experience than Spotify.

Not sure why do we need Spotify, when we have Google Play Music.

Smart move from Samsung this time. After the failure of Bixby and the other own software, they finally choose something that works

I have onwed the last 3 Samsung flagships.
I had the opportunity to try out Spotify and i was displeased, i never want to try it EVER again, i prefer having my favourite songs in my SD card and listen to them whenever, where and as much as i want. I prefer quality over quantity and i prefer buying than loaning.
                      My phone, my choice!

Spotify always wants a bigger cut, just like they did with Sony and my PS4, this is what they LL do with Samsung now, they pay them so that they shove their app on our throats, in the hope that they will get more slaves, clients bound forever on them.
Well i am not one of them and decided that i will never be.
If the Spotify app is preloaded and the new phones and cannot be removed, i shall not buy them!
If they try to install it, on my current phone, without my consent, i will initially report them and then, if necessary, sue them!

Now i m curious about the implementation, the reason i uninstalled and will never use Sony's TrackID, an app i be been using before even Android existed, was the way they have chosen to implement Spotify links after every search. If Samsung does the same hello Huawei!

Not a fan of Spotify myself even though I subscribed a bit with them. For me they lack music choice where as YouTube music is now THE platform for music to be on IMO. Its got a much better UI to Spotify IMHO and better choice of music. And its costing me less than Spotify.

AnonD-558092, 12 Aug 2018Booh. I do not want more junk. If I want an online platform... moreThe ACTUALLY USABLE part of Google Play Music is only available in like a dozen countries.

For everyone else, it's just a music player for whatever you pirated.

And LG with VIVO goes with Tidal HiFi Master

                                I'm sorry, what?

S Music is way better! Lmao Samsung.

Anyways, I prefer SoundCloud over Spotify a million times.

Booh. I do not want more junk. If I want an online platform I'll get it myself. Forcing Spotify is anticompetitive and downgrading the experience. I prefer high quality offline music players. Gotta disable Spotify and download S Music manually... again since for some yet unexplained reason they preinstalled Google Play Music in place of S Music, which is in my opinion much better, especially since it's not a free/paid platform that will try to make you buy a subscription. Sometimes less is more. Less IAP is much more

Or maybe the partnership is due to their common competitor: Apple.
