Its a 6.4 inch phone with the rest being dead space around the mega notch. Still waiting for a large screen phone with good LTE support.

I have no words.. it's that bad

It's sad to see a OnePlus 6 manages to have a 8GB phone with dual camera setup for even less than half of the price of a Pixel 3 XL( for sure Pixel 3 XL will be more than 1000€ as it's predecessor was already)

Single shooter camera at the back isn't a disadvantage when Google is involved, you guys still remember how pixel 2 XL killed very device last year in camera quality and performance. History is about to repeat itself again this year, that single shooter will send down other devices at benchmark test.

I have been sitting on the fence for a new device. I am liking the Pixel 3 smaller sibling. Looks clean and classy. Will wait to see it as details firm up, as I like this years smaller bezel, eco system, good camera , otherwise I will look at a new solid Nokia 9 or possibly the new HTC under construction.

Overpriced phones don't attract customers, an ugly phone at that. Even if the camera is the largest selling point.

The only 2 or 3 good points are the very good camera performance, pure vanila Android, and faster software updates.

xOdd, 11 Aug 2018I never was against the notch.. but Google, are you serious... moreI hated notch, but after I have my Zenfone 5, my opinion is sideways different.

Notch is sexy, just not as long as Iphone X or too short like Oppo F7.
Zenfone 5 has nice notch, only need to be trimmed thinner.

Google doing just the opposite, they magnify the size... It's called FAT NOTCH.

Google wants to exploit its customers by avoiding lossless zoom.

do we really need an almost 7inch for a phone? serious question.

I just think if youre doing any sort of media consumption that requires that screen space, its probably time to get a tablet.

It's gonna be a very hard sell unless there's really something special about that camera, or unless they're repositioning the series.

Whoa everyone seems to already having their own piece in criticizing the phone's design. I'm here just pointing that notifications on the lockscreen is still my least favorite part of pure android. It ruins the beauty of the lockscreen wallpaper...

Not enough battery for that much screen. 4,000mah should be the standard nowadays
