ronn89, 13 Aug 2018its hard to replace the mighty PUBG...!Shame PUBG Mobile is inseparable to the full fat PUBG. The same PUBG that costs about $30 on Steam and Xbox One Disc but has even worse bugs, cheating issues, and server problems than the mobile version...

The Android version of Fortnite just cements how much I dislike the game in general.
The controls are horrible compared to other mobile Battle Royale Games, such as PUBG and ROS.
The game controls and general gameplay needs a lot of improvement. The game has some serious bugs and design issues that makes it worse to even attempt to play than PUBG during it's initial Android launch.

Just the realization of a full fledged PC/Console game like this on mobile platforms is a significant achievement and enabling cross platform play is as commendable. We are almost at the point where high end smartphones are capable of running 'proper' games and things will get only better.
People complaining about resolution and such. Really guys? Ten years ago if you had told me you could run PC games on a smartphone at almost the same level, i would have laughed you out of the room! Yet here we are. Its amazing to be honest. I can play minecraft on my S9 which looks better than the windows 10 version in my laptop!

The amount of tantrums they throw in releasing it just makes it easier for pubg to take hold of the market. Or are they waiting for people to lose interest in pubg? Anyways, not going on playstore is going to be a serious disadvantage

Playing fornite on the note 8 reads like this review. I think as you stated tencent comprimised with pubg but its very well polished and a good example of a port from desktop to mobile devices, whereas fortnite yes its an ok port but hopefully with some big patches fixes some of the bugs and noticable flaws in the game play/ visuals of the game.

It looks like they rushed the game launch, just to be samsung exclusive. They ended up with an unfinished game, buggy, laggy and they definitely need to improve framerate and graphic quality!

I'm sure this will be a hit... or isn't?
I'm already satisfied on the most recent game that peforms like you're on a console (Asphalt 9: Legends)

And those people definitely want to know about that lame and popular fortnight game. The earlier they publish it, the better it is for them as they can get their audience faster than the competitors

"...Epic managed to make far few compromises to the look and feel of the game on mobile than what Tencent had to do with PUBG". That's mostly because the PC game looks extremely console-y to begin with, isn't it?
A beta does have performance hick-ups and most likely lowered graphics settings to counter those, to accommodate the background logging. That's why games are never really reviewed when they're in beta... :)
