Huawei's been in telecomms for a long time, but their Kirins' integrated modems never won any throughput tests.

Whoever the phonemaker, the one which will be use 5G will only use either snapdragon or exynos chipset for now. Kirin will soon release since Huawei is also top 5g vendor (i mean bts station etc) maybe they will release later since the full 5g standard hasnt finished, next year is the time. It's great to wait the implementation, because massive mimo is the real deal.

i have a 2017 phone cat12 600/150 mbps specs but my fastest speed is 30 mbps (download) and max 60mbps(10%), my country(ph) is not ready for 5g speeds lol monopoly sucks.. i hope we can adpot in 2021 hahaha

Hopefully this gets us closer to exynos devices in the US.
Yes the s845 is better this time around. But that's because a lot of work and focus was put on a new wide core design. And more about show than real world use which is more limited.
But exynos has great track record.
And most of the time is better in cpu, audio, and efficiency. And even gpu has been on par or better in note generations than people believe.
Next year could see a much better refined cpu design.

It happens in my country with all theoretical speed of 4G, it barely exceeds the first gen 3G modem (3,1MBpS). Though it will eventually reach that 5G speed,Now I don't see it practical apart from marketing to increase the pricing.
