RIM to offer all Blackberry users free apps starting October 19

In order to make up for its server outages, Research in Motion will offer its users premium apps for free.

      The App cant use WiFi ! I need to download 3 rd party app to use. my 9780 OS6 everytime want to link to wifi must restart ! is no good ! but my another 9300 OS5 is Ok ! so I will hope can down grade the OS !!!

        RIM should quit....
        now a days Rim may have 1000 users all over the wold...lol
        so plz quit...start a mobile pouch making company for sam,apple, etc..

          ive just move from bb to iphone.. blackberrys are no longer business tools, just toys for kids.. and not good ones at that! it wasnt the outage that did it for me, just annoyed with OS6 running on a bold 9700, pointless. i do more browsing now than anything, so may as well get something that better suits.

              Could someone please confirm for countries where they can't access to App World to download the apps, how this will work for them? My case for example, I am from Mozambique and application World is not yet working here. I am glad to hear that. Very helpfull from them. Appreciated

                I've got a mate who leaked me this yesterday. Any I was still able to bbm my mates during rim downtime. My mate told me I was using sms and not bbm. Thanks.
