we all should be happy that apple made the iphone, they set the bar for what a smartphone should be with the first variant. Its always a win win situation for us as consumers to have choices and have the smartphone giants build higher quality devices in an effort to win our hearts. As far as the battle between SGS2 and ip4S whether its fan based or not, its just what you like and what fits your life style. as far as the hating is concerned i read all these comments and its obvious that most android users hate apple, why? I've used them all and for me my BB and my iphone battery will last all day under heavy usage while the android will die in just a few hours most of the features shut off. If we look at build quality Samsung is lacking in this department, just compare the SGS2 to any late model HTC or the iPhone and you'll see that the Sammy falls way short.

The glass Apple uses is the same type of glass.
SonyEricsson also uses the same type of glass.
It's not from Crown Corning so doesn't have the brand name.

It has nothing to do with galaxy s - s2 sells. Galaxy S2 problem to keep sells high is huge screen, that's the biggest reason. Phone that big just can't beat iPhone sells never.
Which one you think most of average users would buy, huge galaxy s2 which you can't even use with one hand or iPhone 4s which is great size and very ergonomical for one hand use.
iPhone is for every age group phone galaxy S2 is not.
I'm not surprised at all for this 4 million i'v been saying many times that this iPhone 4S is going to be most selling smartphone ever. I don't see almost any competition there where iPhone sells most (average people). Only real competitor is WP7 but for now it doesn't look like it's doing great job, there's also big screen problems, most of WP7 phones are too huge. Really don't understand what the hell they are doing their focus is lost.

That's a major point you've just mentioned most blind apple fan fail to realise. Apple only produce one brand of phone whereas samsung produces more. Apple are focused only on the affluent market group whereas samsung skimms all market types. Samsung lover has got the option to chose their prefered style and choice. When you combine all samsung lover you will see it surpasses iphone's total sales.
