Gold price are approx £950 per ounce just under a £1000
say £1000 per ounce
You can buy a gold plated iPhonexs for £100,000 or 100 ounces of 99.9% pure gold which is 6.25lb
At a maximum 4 times the cost of the phone would be overpaying but there us no way £100,000 is realistic
