NS, 17 Aug 2018it's because there is a lot of improvement in Android OS an... moreTo me, year on year features on ios has improved much more than android. Sure Android P is good, but in Android M, N, O, i don't see a huge difference. I am not sure how Doze mode has helped, as the battery backup hardly improves by 2-3%. Most other improvements are gimmicky at best. reply from notifications, app notification controls etc,.. multitasking.. Like Samsung had this features 6 years ago, in Galaxy s4, note 2 etc. I switched from Iphone 4s to Galaxy Note 2 to Iphone 6s Plus to s6 edge plus and now to Google Pixel. To me, the gap in Camera from Note 2 to S6 and then to Pixel 2 is much smaller as compared in 4s, or 5s to 6s plus. All I am trying to say, the iphones change much more in hardware as well as software but still being stable, because of the less number of devices to work on, and thats how they get supported for very long. For android, the hardware differences year on year is less internally, the OS is also not that improved drastically every year. Due to huge number of devices, the support is very low from the manufacturer. That is why in my experience, if you buy an iphone, it is going to stay relevant for much longer , and you can get very good second hand cash

This thing is dirt cheap for us Indians, We here can even blindly buy 2800 dollar (Rs200,000) iphone .

Anonymous, 18 Aug 2018Because they want to sell note 10 by giving QC 3.0 to note 10Or perhaps they wanted to be conservative. The thing is though, being conservative isn't helping them

Walter C. Dornez, 17 Aug 2018Hmm, Quick Charge 2.0? Why not 3.0 or 4.0?Because they want to sell note 10 by giving QC 3.0 to note 10

In India they either go for costly phone like iPhone and keep
it for years or stick to budget phone and replace it every year ,with xiaomi and one plus capturing the Indian market for past few years ,samsung need to reduce the prices otherwise they are looking at huge loss

Hello Life, 17 Aug 2018Wowie, priced much better than Iphone X. Wish it would last... moreit's because there is a lot of improvement in Android OS and the up gradation of hardware.

Wowie, priced much better than Iphone X. Wish it would last as much as any iphone. Even the 6s Plus is not considered that old, whereas Note 5 and S6s are obsolete.

GovindRuby, 17 Aug 2018At Least The Indian Price Is Close To US Price.Because it is fully manufactured in the worlds largest mobile factory which is there in Noida, India. So no import tax which is 20% at the moment.
