my first question

why is it so big

2nd, why is it plasticky

3rd why it doesnt bloody have at least 2 hardware control buttons to make life so much easier when answering a phone call while haveing wet or sticky hands.

4th why the launcher home button is looking like blackberry?

is it gonna compete Galaxy S2? not in a million years

Well said sir well I have an 8 Mp camera because i like to view pictures on my tv without compromising sharpness of the pictures. Alot of people do not know the difference lol what a pity. A high pixel camera is good if you want to print a picture that's as big as billboards but if you just want to post pictures at facebook and the likes a 5mp camera is more than enough. so quit the blabberin

Stop complaining about CPU and camera. Both are more than enough for a phone. A phones CPU does not a even clock 700 MHz today even if you play a demanding game. The only reason you might need even 1 GHz is if you are running like 20 apps at the same time and you want them to run smoothly. And seriously, who even uses a phone that way?

The camera at 5MP is more than enough also, depending on the quality of the lens. Did you know that Nokia N82 Carl Zeiss lens at 5MP still takes much better pictures than most 8MP phones out there, including SGS2.

Unless you plan to print out a photo the size of you house door, you do not need 8MP. If you like to take random photos, than i suggest you go and get phone with a good lens made by a good company, be it 5MP or 8MP.

On that note, The former Nexus S 5MP still has a better camera than SGS2. Trust me, i have both phones.

Most of you are stuck up in the whole CPU and Megapixel hype to even understand the basics.

bongbong, 19 Oct 2011I agree with you. It's just that there are a lot of comment... moreI don't think it's "almost the same" as the iphone4, but the screen I think is better than iphone 4.

ICS doesnt use physical touch controls..controls is on screen itself..then how do this goona configure old device having physical touch controls????
i think manufactures might remove screen controls from ics for old 2.3 devices ..any objection??

vega, 19 Oct 2011Why would you put a 2 year old GPU in it? WHY? Such high re... moreYeah, but it runs at 384MHz as opposed to 200MHz and has much more bandwidth to work with. SGX540 is a beast. Iphone 4 uses it also. SGX543 is a repackaged 540 with a MultiProcessor capability.

Once Moto Droid Razr received ICS, Galaxy Nexus Can't compete Droid Razr anymore.

GigZ, 19 Oct 2011I loved it until its headphone jack is at the bottom... sad... moreThe fact that it's got a bottom headphones jack actually is good (for me, at least), as i always put my phone upside down in my pocket, in order to take it out, the right way, without any much hassle (take it out with it's upside to the sky).
So, the bottom headphones jack is ok, so i can put the phone in my pocket upside down and still listen to music :D
