Leave aside the FF considering only the AF even then there was noticeable difference between N82, N79, 6220 Classic and N97 all of which are 5MP AF Carl Zeiss and the works.
And coming to the part of realizing 5MP is good enough. It is simply that we are greedy lot and always want more... Until the Mazda MX-5 came along and became a standard amongst sports cars not because of the low HP rating or petite styling but because when it all came together you had the perfect sports car.

I say enjoy the tech that we are getting now, who cares where it comes from, just use what works best for you.
Who copied who will be settled by the companies, they're busy suing each other anyway. So one less thing to worry about in my opinion.

1. It is integrated system wide within iOS and coordinates between apps fluidly
2. Integration with wolfram alpha a very powerful knowledge database
3. Contextual understanding where it can carry out tasks, even when the commands are indirect
This technology will eventually come to all mobile phones, so no point in insulting it. it would be like the first batch of phone owners insulting touchscreen when it started becoming popular.

Android is a ... moreYou do realize that there was is a voice based application integrated with android since a while. What apple have done isn't ground breaking by any means. Siri was just an app for the iphone that apple have integrated into the iOS.
Were you expecting a medal for originality??
Siri works just the way Google's voice app works it sends the voice clip to an apple server where it is decoded and results are returned and most importantly IT DOESN'T DEPEND ON WHERE YOU ARE LOCATED OR WHICH HANDSET YOU ARE USING...
The most interesting fact would be the search engine Siri uses when it cant find a result... :)

Why would you put a 2 year old GPU in it? WHY? Such high res but nothing powerful enough to make use of it, it has the same graphics processor as the Galaxy S1!!!

Sounds funky, but the need to charge the phone every day is not very nice. I would imagine you need a new battery latest after one year.

5Mp sensor produces very large pictures too, but the picture quality is better than with 8Mp
What is much more important, is sensor quality and lens quality. NOW, THIS IS SIMPLE!

Well not what i hoped for...
Why not exynos? theres even no Tegra2. but lets wait the benchmarks!!!
The camera was a bummer, but the optiks makes the picture a huge deal and if the sensor is a good one.
and if ur not makeing the pictutes in to posters the 5MP one is ennough...
waiting for testing! It would be nice to have a big megapixel number.
The nice thing was the display
but still lets wait the tests

Nokia has 5MP camera on almost mid range phone and people say they suck because it's ONLY 5MP compared to 8-12MPx on other phones aside from being fixed focus.

indeed, 5MP is not a major disadvantage over an 8MP snapper...image quality doesn't depend on this....higher MP is a mem space consumer... lol...i wonder how the cpu works on every benchmarks, please have a review about its performance...i hope this bitch be released in the philippines soon..

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about.
5MP/8MP its doesn't necessarily produce a good image. The components, integration and calibration play an important role in the quality of final image. Just like the iphone4 produced great images with only a 5MP sensor, whilst every other manufacturer had moved on to 8MP or more. It goes to show its not just about the MP race. Most of us would primarily use the images for a FB album and never actually get them printed.
As long as it handles low light well and avoid any unwanted fringing it would be more than sufficient. Also with 1080p @30fps available there isn't much to whine about.
Coming to the processor again people seem disappointed, is 1.2GHz dual core not enough??? I presently use SGS2 and am thoroughly satisfied. But come to think of it my year old SGS and iphone4 with their 1GHz single never did lag with any app to date.
Its all about the integration and optimization that makes a the difference.
We call ourselves tech savvy when we get the latest gadgets. But some buy for show, some as technology enthusiasts and some simply to have the best.
Let's not let our greed blind us into undermining any device.

Yeah how disappointing, its only got 1.2 dual core which is as fast as a desktop PC 5 years ago that fits in your pocket and has the resolution of your 55 inch HD TV and can capture data out of the air at a speed only dreamed off 10 years ago with cell phones.Why are you complaining when 20 years ago would be called a super computer and 100 years ago humans were fighting polio, Tuberculosis, Chickenpox and could die from a small cut on your finger.

and this phone is exclusive to phones 4u in the uk as they have a 4 week exclusive on the handset.
