So people still think that megapixels tell how good the camera is? Really?? Even Canon and Nikon are droppong their mpx-count on high-end pocket cameras for better image quality.

Whoever said 5MP camera is not enough for a phone, please buy Canon or Nikon instead. :D

      Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
      Barometer and face detection
      Very Enchanting!!! /S

Talk about BIG disappointment. Just when I was about to give Google a chance to reinvent Android. The demos speaks for themselves. I see a "counter-copy" of features from the iOS like the way to make and organize folders and the on-lockscreen quick button for camera. Barometer? Can you feel the pressure Google? Buggy Face-detection? Yeah, keep telling me that they're still in beta. After delaying the announcement, I expected something better. With Android, after how many years, EVERYTHING seems like BETA still. Laggy and buggy interface. Features that don't always work (talk about being unreliable). Seriously Google/Samsung? Can't you even put auto-focus and auto-exposure lock on video capture? I've been using my SGS2 extensively for taking videos (exhausting every possible setting) and the continuous auto-focus (which is the only option available) always makes the output blurry like it's always having a hard time focusing. Seriously Google/Samsung?

the specs is underwhelming for "the most anticipated phone" kind...yet the Ice Cream Sandwich make this one reasonable & worth to buy for.

Despite the HD screen, it still using the old Super Amoled display which off course its a pentile matrix. So i guess given the large screen, the -ppi- will be low. Love to get one but then the specs doesnt really WOW me much. What is got, SGS2 got it better. Maybe its the time just to grab it one now.

The only special thing I can see is the screen resolution, however 4.65 inch is quite large, I think to large for the most (normal) customers. I guess this galaxy nexus is more interesting to developers other then normal people. It's a bit dissapointing through. The 5 megapixel people are blaming about isn't that importent, what's more importing is what lens they have used and the quality (especially when it comes to low light conditions) of that. I'm afraid that's nothing special however. To the bottom: nice smartphone but for the specs a little to late.

I think the rest of the hardware is quite adequate for a flagship phone.

the specs are pretty disappointing. i was waiting for this announcement to decide between the nexus and sgs2. only thing going in favour of this phone is icecream sandwich and the fact that one can update the software as and when google releases it.

Clearly you guys have no idea how powerful the camera is on the galaxy nexus. It blows the s2 camera.

5mp with cmos sensor will smoke any other phone camera
zero shutter lag cant be beaten
