Oppo F9 goes live in India as F9 Pro - Helio P60, 6GB RAM and 25MP front camera

Oppo makes their status bars flash like f----- Car Hazard Lights when you enable the DEVELOPER OPTIONS. They also demand that you enter a CAPTCHA every single time you want to activate the Developer Options.

If you want to change your DPI on the fly, force enable the superior AptX Bluetooth Codec, enable USB debugging, or force multi-window support for all apps and not just Google's and Facebook's, you need the Developer Options.

That alone is why I refuse to touch an Oppo phone with a barge pole.

SUDHAKAR, 21 Aug 2018Samsung A9 pro is far more better tgan the oppo F9 garbage.Is the model you are referring is A9 pro with primitive processor(sd 652 is worser than P20, while this has new age P60), primitive OS(marshmallow updated to nougat Vs Oreo 8.1preloaded with updates coming) and namesake front camera(don't say 8MP camera is better than 25MP camera, I have used flagship phones like Iphone X and I am sure they lack good front cameras of mid rangers) and heavy brick size body and dimensions(16:9 6 inch body with big bezels vs 19:9 6.3" with almost no bezels), rock weight (210 g vs 169 g), snail speed fast charging(0 to 32% in 30 min Vs 75% in same time)cave manufacturing technology that require super big heavy battery (28nm vs 12nm, is it comparable anyway?)no depth camera, no face unlock, less ram and storage(4/32gb vs 6/64gb) much higher cost (24k vs 31k) and so many other no's except amoled screen advantage

        Hope next time, they put that tiny notch in the upper right or upper left of the screen. That would be much better in my opinion.

          That's a joke!

          People wrongly critize Helio X20 for CPU throttling. SD652 is worst!

                India is tough market for non-Xiaomi manufacturer. Even OPPO and VIVO is forced to enter the High Value Handset by Xiaomi. The key for pricing is dirt cheap.

                  So India wont get F9 Pro (if it will exist) and might get F9 lite as F9 now if a person googles F9 Pro see the specs and buy one he will actually be getting lesser F9. Nice misleading

                    If only they come with IP rating, would be a plus to marketing materials. Water drop screen, water burst like charging posters, and water resistant body.

                      Oppo phs would start looking interesting the moment they start equipping them with "USB C".!!
                      Guess this applies to VIVO as well.
