I wasn't convinced on fingerprint readers until I got a phone with an actual fingerprint reader on the back. It's lightning fast, much better than face unlock.
Face unlock is kinda dumb honestly.

I say the in-display fingerprint scanner should detect on whole screen, I mean we press on ANY area of the screen can detect by the fingerprint reader. The China in-display scanner is lag like a midrange, but people can get used to it, but the UI is totally a IOS looks and the notch, replica always.

Definitely on display Finger scanners!
back scanners are unusable if you have a "wallet" case since when you open the case first by 360 degrees means you block the access to the fingerprint scanner.

Front for sure. Bottom or back is really bad idea cuz on back is man camera which you can leave smudges there and the bottom side isj ust bad for onehandling.

I don't vote this pool because in-display fingerprint scanner should be whole of the screen can read the fingerprint not just a little space and fixed area.

On the front is great because people dont like to pick up their phone from the desk to unlock it with rear fps. As always, password and pattern is forgotten feature in smartphone.

On the back is most comfortable. Plus knock code like LG does. I hate front fingerprint scanners and PINs

UD scanner is futuristic, but shouldn't be "the future". It'll raise prices of the parts and phones. Simply unneeded.

Next iPhone would absolutely kill it in sales and you would wonder (again!) why it is going better each year.
They merely don't use legacy technology like you lot seem to love. I mean active biometrics, FFS, welcome 2013. Always two steps behind...

Huawei has fingerprint scanner on the front and I love it.
Next stupid question should be "if we mind having bigger battery"or something lol
