Well Apple has built up who they are and are using that to their advantage in those ways. I bet they would see it as a win win situation I suppose from their perspective. It can really be sad to look at how businesses are and how the corporate world survives on consumers.

I am surprised by the intended sarcasm used in the article of a good professional website. I am a user of iPhone X with Airpods and Samsung Note 8. Airpods, although are simple, the convenience and seamless integration are the reason they sell like hotcakes. I believe, even with the headphone jack on iPhone it would had sold like hot cakes.
With preprogrammed mindset against one brand, spoils the article legitimacy and so your credibility.
