We're in for a Press Event in IFA Berlin City Cube on 31. August. Samsung just told us to prepare for an exiting new product - think this could be it.

I have tried the plus. It is amazing. They have improved the resolution with a new process called SFS. You are going to love it!

When you speak in behalf of others ( you need their permissions).> what will we see, and what we will not see, it is a private matter, and not a matter of publick speculators. If publick speculators was right ( you know, how to invest your money and all the related subjects...). First they will had becomed rich. So stop making predictions for others, you can say what you expect to see in a personal level. This is your right but don't speculate in behalf of others ( you don't have this right). i have no idea what these vr headsets are so far. a holder for the phone? for note phone only? the marketing is poor. Apple did not work in this area, they might have known this is not a market mature users have interest.

As of from my previous statement you were not exist there for me to even ask for permission. My words do represent us all. It is a fact, I repeat, a real solid fact that we will not see VR device with 4K display in stand-alone device until the day 4K is a norm. Of course this fact can change if technology decide on a different path. In my words, "the day it become a norm" can refer to any length period of time; short or long. Thus, it actually represent your opinion.
4K VR is impossible to be commercialized for now. It is a few years before that actually happen and yes we will see it in a short time. Samsung already did showcased it this year. The display have 1200ppi. Yes, thats not a typo. Lastly, we discussing VR here not smartphone. There no need to add unnecessary argument like bankcruptcy or Galaxy phone.

Samsung make stand-alone VR headset these day. Btw, 4K for a display just a few inch in size in VR headset is quite far fetch now. Till the day 4K display is a norm in smartphone or tv we will not see this yet.
