AhmedShaikh, 30 Aug 2018I don't use Sony and don't particularly like them, but damn... moreIt should looks good because it is samsung+htc design.

Also Sony covers water damage if the phone had a leak around the seals, meaning defective unit. No other company will cover water damage under any circumstance.

Sony is certain about their phones water resistances, offering the highest standard in protection of IP68, and protection against low water jets in compliance with IP65. That's the truth. They are different tests and all Xperia flagships since Z3 are IP65/68.

Still, provide me with only one credible source, claiming Sony Xperia flagships aren't IP68. Only one. You can't, because you are wrong :)
Take care next time I'm reporting you for trolling.

It clearly says - the device is only water resistant and submerging will void the warranty, meaning it only has level 5 or 6 of water protection.

regs, 05 Sep 2018Read the god damn code. Levels 7 and higher means submerging.Yes, but ip65 is entirely different test where water jets hits the phone. Entirely different push to the phone than just submerging it.
Watch the video they clearly state Sony XZ2 is IP65 and 68 separately.
            Anything else you doubt?

Show me one source claiming it's ip65, one website. Until then stop misinforming people and learn the difference between the certifications :)

Provide only one source.., I'm waiting.

                  Sony site says:

                  Durability: Water resistant (IP65/68)⁴
                  4. Xperia XZ3 is water resistant and protected against dust, so don’t worry if you get caught in the rain or want to wash off dirt under the faucet. You should not put the device completely underwater. Abuse and improper use of device will invalidate warranty. The device has been tested under Ingress Protection rating IP65/68.

AGAIN - You should not put the device completely underwater.
Meaning it has no IP68 certification. They just tested it, but not certified. That's it.

It cannot be both IP65 and IP68, because it is LEVELS of protection. As I told you, your cheap Sony false marketing doesn't work hence sells flopped so much. It just IP65 of 68.

regs, 31 Aug 2018Fake IP68 again. Specs means IP65 of 68. 4. Xperia XZ3 i... moreOh my god you again! Didn't I already proved you wrong?
It's both IP65 and 68. Both pressure resistant and can be submerged.
Why is it so hard to understand?

                    Check it's specifications already!
From Sony Xperia website: Sony Xperia XZ3 is Waterproof and dust-tight (IP65 and IP68)***

                    See? BOTH!!

Too huge. I just wanted to have 5.5 in. screen, 4k display, dual cam on the back, in-glass fps, radio, SD card, 6G RAM, 128G ROM. BTW, 3.5 jack.

Screen is huge, the phone gives off a simplistic design, and look at how much Sony has toned down the bezel.
I've seen worst phones come on in 2018, and don't get me started on the Notch teardrop concept, most phones right now copying off of apple or any design feature that's trending, in a world of clones, Sony is sticking with its guns and rockin' those bezels.

Not exactly massive even by smartphone standards, and pixel density would severely impact SNR. As somebody who does their own post processing I'd definitely hope for a 12MP.

They said 48mp massive sensor. Which will be either 1/1.7 or half inch. So in one terms massive.

Dont forget to say phone weights almost equal as Cat S61 or Sonim XP8 :-)
And we speaking about a basic phone not something which have MIL-STD810G durbability.
Sony again proved they dont know what they doing and how to dont make a proper phone releasing a metal brick with gorrila glaass on top, instead of a well working phone.

Sony i think you need to hire another designer. Your design language is so ugly (my opinion). I can't see a premium look on your recent flagship. A flagship mean Beast inside, Beauty outside. Then people willing to pay a flagship pricetag.
