Kirk, 04 Sep 2018You seem to be confusing "ancient" for another word... Ancient is good word.
Or relic etc.
Historical museum technology if you like this term.

I am glad for that. Jack is outdated and bluetooth and wireless are the new era of future.

That's some resilience from ZTE. A similar ban would have crushed HTC into oblivion. Atleast LG & Sony have other businesses that hold them up.

dvdivx, 30 Aug 2018So if there is that much money to be made why don't Chinese... moreMost of them release international version of the phones with the needed bands, though later. Maybe not for the US since they haven't focused on there.

Whackcar, 30 Aug 2018Yeah! Dual-Notches make a lot more sense than single notch.... moreNot to mention Android Pie would work well with it. The gesture bar could be above the notch

Hope they drop updates for the zte blade z max

They lost $1.1 billion and still standing.
Some company must be just file bankruptcy.

So if there is that much money to be made why don't Chinese companies actually put more LTE bands on their phones?

At least the dual-notch will provide proper front-facing stereo audio which nothing else can come close to. Dual front-facing speakers were becoming a norm until this whole stupid bezel-less trend started. :S

Axon 9 Pro has dropped the headphone jack recently. People may not be willing to buy this phone because of that and will look at alternative brands that still has it. So even if there is growth, it will be minimal IMHO.

I hope ZTE pulls out of this. I'm quite excited by that Iceberg design they unveiled a few months back
