LG needs to form some sort of niche. They phones are known for good audio. Maybe they should focus on giving their lower end phones also good audio. Or maybe focus on water resistance in their designs. Right now they are just too generic and Chinese phones offer far better performance at much lesser prices.

Even if LG release this phone at ~300 USD, that will do good for their numbers. Quad DAC (or even lower spec DAC) is unlikely to Q series, but if LG does that with premium of 50 USD extra and then it will be whole lot of good for them as well.

Pelacur, 04 Sep 2018Branded company wont sell its product with cheap price.Yes , but brandet company that don't sell her products in cheap prices, has modern specs, and not outdated, See Huawei. Thats is why Chinese brands sells are rising and LG And Samsung are going down. Because with so big Competition, Brand name marketing is not does not exist. You have to realise that in the marketing divisions of big Companies and stop reading marketing handbooks from harvard, these are also outdated. Marketing is evolved, persons that run LG'S and Samsung's marketing Divisions, are not evolving acording with the market and consumer needs. I like LG strategy to use outdated but powerful processor in smartphones which helps in lowering the price. I will definitely buy.

Consumers must not buy phones from LG. Because the company sells the most low specs phones in high prices, and from the chips , she puts inside every chip that qualcomm don't sell. In other words smartphones for Garbage

Manufacturers got lucky after Snapdragon 660 released. It really brings new level of mid-range chipset and all technology contained from flagship SD 820.

the release of SD670 must have brought the price of SD660 down for LG to release one.. Even sony from the rumors.
